Parkdale’s picturesque foreshore and sweeping wide streets, many of them with views of the Parkdale beach, are amongst many of the highlights of this sought-after family friendly suburb. Parkdale beach is a popular swimming spot in the warmer months and Bay Trail is popular for walkers throughout the year. 

Parkdale sits in between Mentone and Mordialloc, which are also popular suburbs by the beach. Parkdale Village is where you get a sense of real community along the Como Parade precinct. With great bars, restaurants and café’s, the village is within close walking distance of Parkdale train station. The local library is on Parkers road, near Como Parade and the train station.
