Aspendale

Aspendale boasts one of Melbourne’s most attractive beaches with its white sands, serene landscape and iconic coloured bathing boxes. Beach access for both locals and out of towners is made easy with excellent parking at Gnotuk Avenue and other beachfront locations.  There is a particularly nostalgic feel about Aspendale as you enter over the bridge having passed through Mordialloc.

Aspendale is close to both Frankston shopping centre and Southland, however there are a selection of great local cafe’s and restaurants throughout Aspendale, including Doyle’s, where you can enjoy casual dining outdoors and get fantastic views across the collection of boats in Mordialloc Creek. Nachos Cantina in Aspendale is also a fun night out for the family, serving great Mexican food.  

Mordialloc, Edithvale and Chelsea local shopping precincts are also an easily accessible choice for Aspendale residents. 

Aspendale Primary and St Louis Primary are amongst the great schools in the area and Mordialloc College is a short journey away. Mentone Girls, Mentone Grammar and St Bede’s are also close by. Aspendale has a life saving club which was established in 1926 and the Chelsea Yacht club is not far away.  Aspendale’s Browns and Yammerbook Nature Reserves are amongst the easy to access recreational grounds along with varied sporting amenities including Rossdale Golf Club. Aspendale train station provides a handy commute for those traveling to the City.
